About High-G

An unbeatable experience.

High-G is an approved training organisation (GBR.ATO-0498) at Blackpool Airport, certified to conduct a range of courses including the light aircraft and private pilot licences, the upgrade course from LAPL to PPL, and further qualifications such as the night rating, restricted instrument rating (IMC) and the aerobatic rating.

Due to the demand for ab-initio training we operate a newly refurbished Cessna 172P and Robin 2120U, which have proven themselves to be ideal basic training aircraft.

Blackpool Airport’s location on the Fylde Coast makes it the perfect airfield from which to conduct training, with easy access to the uncontrolled airspace over Lancashire and the Lake District to the north, and the busy airspace of Liverpool and Manchester to the South.

Historically High-G has been known for our AOPA aerobatics courses, formation training, display flying and training in former military aircraft.
